Let’s talk about quilts for a sec, One of the easiest ways to decorate with them is just by draping them over the back of your couch or on the side arm of a chair.

Questions on what these things are….. They are quilt wall hangers. Basically you slide the quilt through the opening in the bottom, tighten the screw inside the hanger, and the pressure of the tightened screw holds the quilt in place. I only used 2 but,

Back to Routine After almost 2 weeks of vacation, today felt so good getting back into my normal routine (although I still can’t figure out what day of the week it is). I feel like I’m finally getting things checked off my work to do list. As a professional homebody, this is my version of a horror movie marathon. Memorial Day weekend is here, so I thought I’d share some views of our home throughout the years decked out with patriotic decorations. Now, some of you have told me that you don’t think you can add red, white, and blue to your home without it clashing with your everyday decor, but I’m here to tell you that you can! With just a few simple touches it’s totally possible to celebrate the season in a way that still feels authentic to you. Patriotic decor doesn’t have to be loud or over the top. It can be subtle and cozy.

Here are a few easy ways to add that classic Americana charm to your home...

-Tuck a small vintage flag into a vase with flowers.
-Create an arrangement with red, white, and blue flowers in a vintage container.
