Back to Routine After almost 2 weeks of vacation, today felt so good getting back into my normal routine (although I still can’t figure out what day of the week it is). Memorial Day weekend is here, so I thought I’d share some views of our home throughout the years decked out with patriotic decorations. Now, some of you have told me that you don’t think you can add red, white, and blue to your home without it clashing with your everyday decor, but I’m here to tell you that you can! With just a few simple touches it’s totally possible to celebrate the season in a way that still feels authentic to you. Patriotic decor doesn’t have to be loud or over the top. It can be subtle and cozy.

Here are a few easy ways to add that classic Americana charm to your home...

-Tuck a small vintage flag into a vase with flowers.
-Create an arrangement with red, white, and blue flowers in a vintage container.
-Add a striped throw or gingham pillow to your couch or armchair.
-Place a bowl of cherries or strawberries on the kitchen counter.
