✨James✨ A book that was a total spur of the moment purchase because I was thrown off by the cover and finally read the description…..lol I usually go into books blind. And for some reason, when shopping at B&N in January and seeing this was the 2024 book of the year, I picked it up and read the back and was immediately like “I have to read this book.” I’m glad I did, and I understand why it’s the book of the year. What an intriguing retelling and reimagining of a beloved character from a classic story. It was heart wrenching yet exciting and adventurous. A beautiful story.
