Emily Henry season is upon us and we all know what that means….people either love it or hate it lol

I thought that this was a fun book for the most part, but did find that I was bored at times. Instant love like this story is not my thing….but it was beautifully written with lots of emotion.

If you liked The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, you will definitely like this story, and kind of wish there was more of that bit in here. This is not your typical romcom, but I would say it’s more of a women’s fiction book.

✨Two Twisted Crowns✨

Finished this duology this weekend and it was such a unique read! I can definitely see why it gained so much attention on BookTok and Bookstagram!

I did find this one a little harder to get into, but once I got about half way through I had to know what happened next.

This book is pretty low spice, but if you’d like to skip the few scenes in this book, skip/skim over these pages:

✨April Reading Wrap-Up✨

It. Was. A. Good. Month! I felt like I was actually excited to read my books and for the first time all year my physical reading was more than my audio lol

Andddd for all those asking, here’s a little bump update 🥰 I’ll be 32 weeks on Saturday, my c-section is scheduled and I’ve done literally nothing to prepare other than think about how I need to stuff my Kindle for those middle of the night feedings 🙈 someone told me yesterday at work that I have the most perfect little round bump which made my day.

Monthly Wrap-Up

Pack my kid‘s Easter basket with me!

This year I had the kids collect rocks to fill the basket with to represent our sin; we talked about how they’re heavy, just like our sin Jesus bore for us on the cross. We covered the basket with a towel and let it sit for the weekend, representing the three days Jesus spent in the tomb; and tomorrow we’ll wake up to the sins gone and our basket filled with goodness, like the grace we’ve received from God! Such a fun object lesson that allows a Easter basket, but without the bunny.
