He is our great hope. I read through John chapter 12 this morning and this passage was intense. All of the pain and struggle I’ve experienced in my life - God did not deliver me from it. He helped me glorify Him through it. He brought me to THIS hour for a REASON. What does that mean? We go through struggle, pain, sadness etc. for a reason. He does not waste that. He brought me closer to Him so I could experience His true love. So I could experience His light. So I could know that if I chose to live without truly knowing Him that my life wouldn’t be fulfilled. That truly knowing Him has given me peace above all understanding, has given my heart true joy. Truly knowing Him gives me light in the dark days. No matter what I’m going through He is there to help me be strong. To help me have a positive attitude. To help me inspire others. Inviting God into my heart opened my eyes to so much happiness! If you’re not sure where to start with a daily devotional - start in John. I started in John and have been reading a chapter or 2 a day.
