Get ready with me to turn 26💖🎂🤍🫶🏼

I can not believe I am officially in my later 20’s. I am not kidding when I have to correct myself all the time from saying i’m 22 because my brain is stuck on that age! 🥲😂

Turning 26 felt different this year because it’s another reminder that time is FLYING by & the original plans I had for myself are still in the works and not HERE.

If there’s something I’ve learned about myself up since the past year, it is that I need to learn to be content in the moment I am in. Stop & look at what The Lord has Blessed me with, all the grace i’ve received, & His overflowing love that pours on me. My goal is to have a VERTICAL life seeking God vs. a HORIZONTAL life of seeking things for myself.

To have a vertical life means to always look UP towards The Lord & strive for HIS PLAN. It doesn’t mean you neglect your dreams or goals, but be more open & willing for changes & pivots as they come, leaning on God for his direction during the different seasons.

It’s so easy for me to get caught up in my “whys” “when” “what ifs”. Something I really want to strive for this year & pray for is PATIENCE & WISDOM. I know God’s plan is better than mine so how can I not be excited?!
