A great hat isn’t just an accessory. It’s confidence, polish, and practicality all wrapped into one
I’ve loved Eric Javits for years because their designs truly blend elegance with real-life wearability. The Ribbon Skimmer is one of those pieces that instantly elevates an outfit while still working for everyday life, travel, and unpredictable weather.
If you’re looking for timeless style that actually earns its place in your wardrobe, this one’s worth a closer look.

A few fall finds I’m currently telling my girlfriends about because keeping a good thing to yourself is rude. 😂

Beauty, wellness, home, a little sparkle…basically a peek at what’s been catching my eye lately.

Snagged this highly-fragranced beautiful 3-wick fall candle at Walmart today and I’m blown away by the quality for the price.

Use code SUZY10 for 10% off! The Eric Javits Querida Leather Crossbody is one of those beautiful little bags that can completely change with your outfit. Wear it crossbody for a casual daytime look, shorten the adjustable strap and carry it as a shoulder bag when you want something a little more polished, or remove the strap altogether and carry it as a clutch for dinner or an evening out. I love the half-circle shape and gorgeous crocodile-embossed leather, but it’s the versatility that really sold me!

This little puff-sleeve mini is such an easy throw-on-and-go dress! I love the ruffled neckline, contrast trim, and relaxed fit, and yes, it has pockets. Wear it now with flats or sandals, then add a denim jacket and boots when the weather cools down. I paired it with leopard-print Mary Jane flats for a little pattern play and an easy nod to fall. Then I layered on some fabulous necklaces to finish off my on-trend look.

A sporty rugby shirt gets an unexpected feminine twist with a statement ruffle collar, and I love the juxtaposition! I paired this striped rugby shirt with classic straight-leg jeans, lace suede sneakers,, a metallic gold leather belt, and a designer crossbody handbag for an easy fall outfit that feels current without being overly trendy. The statement collar is such a simple way to update pieces you already have in your closet, especially denim, loafers, and other fall wardrobe staples.

If my makeup can help take care of my skin while I’m wearing it, I’m ALL IN!

That’s what I’m loving about these @OGEE products. The Complexion Perfecting Foundation Stick is designed to boost hydration and radiance, while the Crystal Contour Collection adds soft, natural-looking definition and luminosity.

For the finishing touches, the Beyond Clean Volumizing Mascara is formulated with organic Jojoba Oil and oat-derived proteins to condition and support lash health, and the Tinted Sculpted Lip Oil combines Jojoba Oil, rich butters, Hyaluronic Acid, and buildable color in a smooth, non-sticky formula.

At this stage of life, I’m paying a lot more attention to what’s IN my makeup and what it can do for my skin. Pretty color is wonderful, but skincare benefits too? Even better!

You can take 15% off sitewide at OGEE with code SUZY15.

This dark wash denim maxi skirt has quickly become one of my favorite four-season wardrobe staples! The flattering banded waist, vertical seams, and pretty stitching at the hem give it such a polished look, and I love how easily it can be dressed up or down. I paired it here with a feminine floral tee for an easy transitional outfit, but this versatile denim skirt will be just as cute with sweaters, jackets, and boots this fall and winter. If you’re looking for a flattering denim maxi skirt, casual outfit ideas for women over 50, or versatile wardrobe basics you can wear year-round, this one is such a good find!

A brown linen-blend shirtdress is the perfect transitional fall dress for warm weather, especially when it’s still hot but you’re ready to start dressing for the season. I paired this button-front midi shirtdress with square-toe faux suede ankle booties with a chunky block heel. The roomy square toe box makes these heeled booties much more comfortable! And don’t worry about matching your browns perfectly. When you’re dressing monochromatically, different fabrics and textures naturally take color differently, and the linen-blend dress with faux suede boots gives the outfit more dimension. Finished with Gucci crystal stud earrings and a Gucci twilly for two affordable ways to add a designer touch to a fall outfit.

Fall outfit idea featuring 40% off leopard print wide-leg jeans with a flattering high-rise contoured fit, paired with an up to 50% off brown ruffle short-sleeve sweater available in 4 colors. I finished the look with brown suede ankle boots, a structured cognac handbag, and gold heart jewelry for an easy elevated casual fall outfit for women.

Baylor game day look on point in this cute striped short shirt dress! The stripes make it so flattering! I paired it with sneakers, but it’s equally as cute with cowboy boots, booties, or tall boots. 👢

I refuse to sweat for the sake of fall fashion. 😂

This linen-blend shirtdress gives me all the fall color I’m craving while still making sense when it’s HOT outside. And right now, it’s 30% off!

I paired it with square-toe faux suede booties, and that roomy toe box makes such a difference in how comfortable they are. Also, notice that the browns don’t match perfectly. They don’t need to! When you’re dressing monochromatically, mixing slightly different shades and textures actually makes the whole look more interesting. Linen blend + faux suede = totally fine in my book.

Then I added a Gucci twilly and crystal studs for a little designer fun without the designer-bag price tag. Those kinds of small details are such an easy way to play with your style in the empty nest, and I am ALL about having more fun with our clothes at this stage of life!

You know your girl is a sucker for gingham, so when You know your girl is a sucker for gingham, so when I found this organic cotton dress with an autumnal gingham print (brown/black), I could not resist! It's comfy, flattering and just the perfect length for sandals, sneakers, Mary Jane's, booties, or tall boots. Add a black blazer or denim jacket to take you into cooler temps and you're all set!
