I refuse to sweat for the sake of fall fashion. 😂

This linen-blend shirtdress gives me all the fall color I’m craving while still making sense when it’s HOT outside. And right now, it’s 30% off!

I paired it with square-toe faux suede booties, and that roomy toe box makes such a difference in how comfortable they are. Also, notice that the browns don’t match perfectly. They don’t need to! When you’re dressing monochromatically, mixing slightly different shades and textures actually makes the whole look more interesting. Linen blend + faux suede = totally fine in my book.

Then I added a Gucci twilly and crystal studs for a little designer fun without the designer-bag price tag. Those kinds of small details are such an easy way to play with your style in the empty nest, and I am ALL about having more fun with our clothes at this stage of life!
