ad Building my mom the office she's always dreamed of... one project at a time.  After painting the room, adding acoustic paneling, and building custom cabinets with a DIY marble countertop, it was finally time to tackle the other side of the room. The vision was an oversized pinboard wall with a warm wood console that would make the entire space feel custom. I chose the 66-inch Classic Console from @plankandbeamfurniture , and I honestly couldn't believe it only took about 10 minutes to assemble. Once it was in place, everything just clicked. The warm wood grain is beautiful, the size fits the wall perfectly, and the neutral finish ties together all of the warm tones throughout the room. It became the perfect spot to style with books, florals, candles, and one of my favorite details—a handmade dish my mom made herself to hold her push pins.
