Behind the Design | Mudroom A mudroom should do more than catch the clutter. It should set the tone for the home. For this space, the goal was to create something highly functional, but still beautiful, elevated, and connected to the rest of the design. We layered classic wall detailing with a Maritime Luxe feel, combining creamy neutrals, a muted olive green, tailored millwork, and subtle texture to give this hardworking space a sense of quiet luxury. Built-in storage, hooks, and a bench bring the practicality every family needs, while the architectural details make it feel intentional rather than purely utilitarian. It’s one of my favorite reminders that even the most functional spaces can feel refined, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. Stay tuned for the finished space later this year.
