We haven’t had a mantle our entire marriage until this year so I’ve had to get creative with hanging my stockings and making my own make shift mantles for 5 years. And I loved this idea so much I am doing it on top of my fireplace mantle 😂 I know so many other people are in similar situations and maybe it doesn’t bother you, but if you’re like me, it does!! So this is your sign to stop waiting until you have a mantle to do garland and stockings, you can do it with whatever you have! I’ve done it on my TV console, this board & batten entryway wall and even the kitchen counter 😂 Get creative and find a way to make your home festive in whatever way makes YOU happy!!
