Colon Cancer Awareness Month 💙 Colorectal cancer is now the deadliest cancer in people under 50. It seems like those getting diagnosed are getting younger and younger. I had family history so I went for a consultation and it was decided I would have an early screening colonoscopy. I am so thankful my report came back clear and I will continue to screen according to my doctor’s recommendation. Sharing some things that helped me in the days leading up to and after the procedure to help support my body in the best way I could. Currently, guidelines set screening at age 45 unless you have family history. However, if you are experiencing any changes or symptoms or are high risk, please schedule a consultation. Caught early, colon cancer is one of the most curable cancers. Please go - for yourself, your family, your grandkids. Screening can save your life. It’s also a really great nap 😴 LTKselfcare LTKstorytime LTKvlog
