It’s citrus season and this three ingredient Milo’s Lemonade Jam Recipe is perfect for spring and summer! 🍋Add to cakes, cookies, crepes, and your Milo’s TEA! 2 cups @drinkmilos Lemonade
2 cups sugar
2 cups peeled lemons
Lemon zest to taste (optional, I use about 1 TBSP)

On medium heat, add Milo’s Lemonade and Sugar to a saucepan. Stir for about 5 minutes until sugar is dissolved. Add peeled fresh lemon and lemon zest (optional) to the mixture and boil on medium heat for 20 minutes until lemons are softened. Add hot jam mixture to cans. Keep refrigerated. Yields 24 oz

SOFT SUGAR COOKIE + ICING RECIPE perfect for Easter!

ICING RECIPE:
Beat:
3 TBSP Meringue Powder
1/3 cup to 1/2 cup Warm Water (Until frothy)

Add:
4 Cups Powdered Sugar (Slowly until glossy)

Add:
Vanilla to taste and more water if the icing is too stiff.

This dries fast (within 5-10 minutes)

GRANDMA'S SOFT SUGAR COOKIE RECIPE:
1 Cup Soft Butter
1.5 Cups Sugar
2 Eggs
1 Cup Sour Cream
1.5 TSP Vanilla
4.5 Cups Flour
1 TSP Salt
1 TSP Baking Soda
1/2 TSP Nutmeg

Cream butter and sugar till fluffy, add eggs and beat well.
Add sour cream and vanilla, blend well. Add dry ingredients. The dough will get quite soft. Chill for several hours or over night. Roll to 1/4 inch thickness, cut, (sprinkle with sugar if you don't plan to frost), and bake at 375 for 8-12 minutes just until some edges get barely golden). Undercooked is better than overcooked.

So in LOVE with this Chinoiserie grasscloth / sisal wallpaper we used in our powder bathroom! Be sure to really measure your walls and make sure it will fit your wall height. We ended up having a lot of blank space from where the pattern ends (top of trees) because our ceilings are 10 ft high but thankfully the grasscloth still covers it all. It’s just a little more white space than I had envisioned. Some prints like this are very short - so beware of that! This was the only chinoiserie I could find that went this high. This one is about 7-8 feet tall until the pattern ends. Oh!!! And be sure to get the “sisal”! Some websites sell a flat print for cheaper and in other colors but I chose sisal and it’s a very nice ivory color with texture!
