Beauty Over 40 ✨

Recently gave my bob a little summer refresh ☀️ Went slightly shorter and added curtain bangs because… why not? 😅

Of course, a new cut means a tiny update to my everyday styling routine too. Here’s my easy 3-step method for soft volume + movement:
✨ Step 1: Rollers for the bangs + crown area.
The trick? Roll the hair away from where you want it to fall — instant volume.
✨ Step 2: I use a flat iron for the rest of my hair and curl everything away from the face for soft waves and extra bounce.
✨ Step 3: Finish with a flexible hairspray that holds without feeling crunchy or sticky. I still want my hair to move naturally 🤍

And that’s pretty much my everyday bob routine lately 💇🏻‍♀️ Simple, quick, and easy to maintain.

This week has been a lot 🤍 One of my kitties has been recovering from pancreatitis, so between the stress, minimal sleep, and barely having an appetite myself… it definitely started showing on my skin too.

Thankfully he’s doing much better now 🐾 and it’s finally time for me to take a moment to care for myself again.

Tonight’s routine is all about giving my skin a little bit of everything it’s been needing lately:

Recently picked up this chiffon trench coat from The Frankie Shop and thought it would be such a fun addition to my closet 🤍

I’ve always loved layering, but living in LA definitely limits that a bit because of the heat ☀️ So when I saw this lightweight chiffon style, I immediately thought it would be perfect for those windier days or cooler evenings when you still want that layered look without feeling too bundled up.
