Passed my 6 week checkup with flying colors! (So thankful!) which also means I have a 6 wk old baby and that doesn’t seem possible!!! Also really going to miss seeing my docs all the time- they are the best and got both my girls here safely which I’ll forever be grateful for 🩷🩷

Getting ready to place a @onequince order, and challenging myself to think of different ways I can wear each piece! I’m such a creature of habit that once I wear something one way I tend to always wear it the same exact way. Raise your hand if you lost your pink after your first baby 🙋🏻‍♀️ It took me almost two years to feel like “me” again, and that’s a long time to be missing yourself!

This time around, I was determined to not lose my pink in the first place, and while I’m certainly not an expert here’s a few things that have helped me 🩷
1) I worked out my entire pregnancy up to 36 weeks!
2) I minimized buying maternity clothes to only what was necessary, and instead focused on buying pieces that would work with the bump and also be flattering postpartum.
3) I worked really hard to build a PP wardrobe that I was not only excited to wear but would flatter a changing body
4) I am giving myself so much more GRACE this time around. Grace for my body, Grace for learning new routines, Grace for becoming a mom of 2 and all that it entails!

Your diaper bag can have just as much personality as you! I have been loving this @casemate jelly tote for mine! With the added organizational, insert, there is literally a place for everything you need & then some .

If you’re not in need of a diaper bag, I still think this tote and insert would work great for teachers going back to school, a fun bad for the office, or a great tote for college girls! Without the insert it’s perfect as a pool bag or a carryall. Possibilities are endless!

Let’s get deep for a minute… Yesterday was a hard day at our house. There was wailing, there was sassing, there were many skipped naps, and at any given time, one of the three girls in our house was crying (often all three of us at once)! The vibes were simply *off*.

After several hours of the same, I cried to God and simply asked if I was cut out for this. Not for any fault of my girls, but simply because I felt not enough on every level. And the instant phrase that God put on my heart was “just because it’s hard doesn’t mean it’s not meant for you.”

Simply put, if anything about motherhood was easy we wouldn’t depend on God. I’d start to think that I was somehow really good at this… rather than leaning on God himself in my hardest moments (and really every moment).

I was reminded that God has uniquely equipped me to be the mother of my two precious girls. He looked at every mother in the world and thought “yes they belong together.“ So I clung to him, and eventually the crying subsided, the attitudes improved, and we all got some sleep.

Thank you God for the gift of motherhood! And if you’re in the trenches today to, I’m praying this meets you right where you’re at 💛
