I wish I knew the secret to feeling 100% confident in your postpartum body (spoiler: I definitely don’t)! But I do know the secret to fitting into your jeans after having a baby: buy whatever dang size your body needs!!

There’s nothing worse than looking at a bunch of clothes that don’t fit; so do yourself (and your mental state) a favor, and buy a few things that fit great and make you feel confident- because only you know what size it is. The rest of us just think you look amazing (because you do mama)!!

What’s bringing you joy lately?!

Yep, still over here decompressing from the incredible experience that was #LTKcon! I learned so much, I wanted to take time to really soak it all in and prioritize what I wanted to tackle first.

This pen and paper girl took 10 pages of notes and had to sort through them all! I’m excited to share the top eight takeaways I had from the conference and how I’m looking forward to implementing them around here. 📝

After battling severe PPA and PPD with my first baby, I’m working hard this time to hold on to “me” with a few simple daily non-negotiables :

1. I do my hair and makeup- even if most of the day we’re home. Even if I’m napped trapped 90% of the time and covered in spitup. When I look in the mirror I recognize the woman looking back at me- and it’s a confidence boost!

2. I get dressed- same as above, no matter how much of a homebody I may be for most of the day, I’m in real clothes! Dresses are my best friend postpartum and I think are even comfier than leggings right now!

3. I shower every night- that 15 minutes is a moment to exhale, relax and yep, get rid of the spitup 😂 . Dare I say it might be better than the post-beach shower?!

These simple habits really do help me retain a piece of me while I’m giving everything to my little ones. 🩷

Our littlest love is 8 weeks old, and I’m still making it a priority to get ready daily. Simple sets make it so easy- especially when we need to be out the door for the doctor! This skirt has built in shorts making it a 10/10 for mom life!
