The Sephora Sale is upon us, and I want you to be an educated buyer and not fall for the trends and peer pressure. Quick breakdowns why you should skip the products from this post:

🔘 the Rhode lip liners have such weak staying power, plus they’re packaged in plastic. Go with @tower28beauty One Liner that’s clean, multi-purpose, more sustainable and lasts longer!

🔘 this NARS concealer is so popular and touted as acne safe but it’s not clean at all. Go with the @HausLabs concealer, it’s clean, acne safe and looks flawless on the skin!

🔘 the Rhode Peptide lip treatments are so overhyped. Unless you get the unflavored + untinted version, it has undisclosed “aroma/fragrance”. The @alpynbeauty agave lip mask is natural, sweet from agave and works so well!

🔘 Another Rhode product that’s touted as non-comedogenic, yet has shea butter and other pore cloggers at the top of the ingredient list. Go with the @tower28beauty SOS moisturizer: actually acne safe and suitable for the most sensitive skin!

🔘 unpopular opinion (that I still hold) but I’m not into the Rare beauty blush. Many shades are super pigmented and harder to work with. For a more natural, lit from within glow and subtler but buildable pigment go with the @saiebeauty dew blush!

🔘 The Armani Luminous Silk foundation is so expensive, filled with problematic ingredients like fragrance, and doesn’t even offer that much coverage. The @hauslabs Triclone Foundation is my ride or die and it’s clean, acne safe as well.
