These new Patrick Ta Eye Illusions Eyeshadow Duos ($42) are meant to be more sheer eyeshadow toppers, one shade is more sparkly and one is more opaque. Buildable, baked, smooth and silky, these remind me a lot of the glittery shades in the Pat McGrath palettes ($128) and UD Moondust single shadows ($24).

My favorite shades are def “Still at the Club” and “We Need Better Lighting” but if you’re an egghead that comes as no surprise HAHAHAH 😂

I’m sorry @lorealparis just dropped the best brow gel I’ve tried this year for $11 and just…. didn’t say anything?!?! HELLO?!?

I received the L’Oreal 24H Brow Lamination in a random PR box, tried it on a whim, and WOW!

1) No white crusties
2) Flexible hold, no crunchy brows
3) Small & skinny spoolie distributes the PERFECT amount of gel
4) Immediately able to brush and shape your brows without waiting for dry down
5) $11!!!

It does have a more medium-strong hold so if you have ULTRA stubborn brows this isn’t for you, but I’ve been reaching for this more than my @rarebeauty Brow Gel and that’s a BIG deal. 🙂‍↕️

I’ve used the original @got2busa gel in the yellow tube for my brows before and it was good but the hold wasn’t as firm as I wanted! So when I saw that 1) there’s an Ultra Glued version and 2) it’s $3 at @ultabeauty ($8 for the full size)…. snatched it right up—love!

It’s a little thicker than the yellow and takes a few extra second to dry down but the hold is strong and comfortable. 🙂‍↕️

If you have darker eyes and want to bring a lil bit of light in them especially as it’s getting darker earlier, this is your friendly reminder that NUDDDDEEEE (not white! 🙅🏻‍♀️) eyeliner opens up your eyes immediately! Personally I find white very stark and unnatural and sometimes makes my whites of my eyes look grey in contrast.

Using @flowerbeauty Moonstone Forever Wear Eye-Lighter. It’s super soft and creamy so it glides onto the waterline without irritating, and it stays all day even when my eyes water from contacts/dry eyes/being CEO of Crybabies Inc. And it’s less than $10!

In the colder months my typically combo/oily skin starts drying out, and there’s a fine balance between too hydrating where my makeup fades, and not hydrating enough where it starts looking really flaky and cakey.
