Cyber Monday
Traveling this week due to the holiday? SAME! I'm bringing these to help me get in a little more fiber & protein while I'm gone. When we eat enough protein, we eat less and we are able to stay in control of how MUCH we eat, a little easier as a result. When we eat enough fiber, our body gets micronutrients that also help keep us a little more satisfied and also helps keep things moving (IYKYK). Earthchimp protein powder is vegan, so not only does it have 20g of protein in a serving, it also has 5g of fiber AND includes probiotics to keep digestion regular while gone. Catalina Crunch is delish to eat alone, providing 11g of protein AND again because it's plant based, provides 14g of fiber. I also like to pair this with nonfat greek yogurt to boost protein & make more of a complete meal while on the go. Quest chips provide 19g of protein and can be a delish snack or added to whatever we get on the go. My daily protein goal is 135g. Bringing these 3 gives me 50g, so I just need to find 85g throughout the day making it easier to hit my targets and feel my best while gone. My daily fiber goal is 25-30g. Bringing these 3 items gives me 19g of fiber, so I just need to find 6-11g throughout the day making it easier to hit my targets & feel my best while gone. Another trip, another opportunity to use my travel essentials! Battery pack that charges SUPER quick & is compact to fit anywhere. Every 2-3 weeks I make my dogs food, due to his severe allergies. Which means, I’m chopping about 10# of sweet potatoes every 2-3 weeks. I can’t believe I’ve only been using this veggie chopper for less than a year, because it saves SO much time (and if you’ve ever chopped 10# of potatoes by hand, you know how much effort it saves also).
