In the stillness of the Saturday after Good Friday, Christ’s closest followers mourned his death and likely questioned the better part of their understanding of Who he is. Why would he lead them only to leave them? Did they have it wrong the whole time? Was he still Who he said he is? If they had only realized Resurrection Sunday was merely hours away… Interestingly enough — don’t we also tend to do that when we feel like God is silent? Or when our plans don’t quite work out as we had hoped? If we can just hold on, we will see that the stillness and uncertainty are a means to a far more glorious end. He’s proven it before. He leads us still. Alway has, always will. Be still. 🤍 Psalm‬ ‭46:10-11‬ 📖: @ruthchousimons
