Would you cross this?👀Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge has been here in one form or another for over 250 years. Fishermen originally built it in the 1700s to reach the tiny island and check their salmon nets — back when the “bridge” was basically a few ropes and nerves of steel. Today’s version is much sturdier, but the thrill is still very real.It sits along Northern Ireland’s Causeway Coast, about a 15–20 minute coastal walk from the car park. The trail is easy with nonstop ocean views, and you’ll need a timed ticket to access the bridge. Staff send visitors across in small groups, and once you’re on the island you can wander the cliffs and soak up the scenery before crossing back.If you’re doing a Causeway Coast road trip, this is one of those quick stops that ends up feeling like a highlight.ireland carrickarederopebridge northernireland #irelandroadtrip travelireland LTKTravel LTKActive LTKSaleAlert
