This was something simple and easy to make on a busy week night. Is it my favorite recipe of beef and noodles…no it’s not but I was shopping from our pantry and using up things we had on hand.

Ingredients:
- 2 cups uncooked egg noodles
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- Salt & pepper, to taste

Instructions:
1. Boil a salted pot of water for the egg noodles and cook according to package directions.
2. Meanwhile, add the ground beef and onion to a skillet. Cook over medium-high heat, breaking the meat up as you go along, until it is nicely browned (about 10 minutes). Do not drain the fat unless you are not using lean ground beef (then drain a bit but still leave at least a couple tablespoons of it in the pan).
3. Reduce the heat to medium and stir in the garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian seasoning, and cook for 1 minute.
4. Stir in the flour and cook for another 1-2 minutes, stirring often (this cooks the raw flour taste out).
5. Gradually pour in the beef broth while stirring until the flour has dissolved and scraping any stuck-on bits from the bottom of the pan.
6. Continue cooking for another 5-10 minutes (stir occasionally) or until the gravy has thickened to your liking. If it gets too thick, add in a splash more beef broth.
7. Drain the cooked egg noodles, add them to the skillet, and toss with the beef mixture. Season with salt & pepper if needed and serve immediately.

Made this for the first time and it won’t be the last.

It was a perfect choice for a quick and easy meal!

Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef
1 cup diced yellow onion
1 tablespoon minced garlic
2 cups chicken broth
2 cups minute rice
10.5 oz Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 cup salsa con queso
2 cups shredded nacho cheese

Instructions:
1. Drop the lean ground beef into a large skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Add the diced onions to the skillet and stir well.
3. Continue cooking and crumbling the ground beef until it is fully browned.
4. Add the minced garlic, stir well and continue cooking for about 2 minutes.
5. Add the chicken broth and minute rice to the skillet. Gently stir until all of the rice is submerged in the liquid.
6. Bring the liquid to a boil, place a lid on the skillet and reduce the heat to low.
7. Leave the rice to cook for 5 minutes.
8. After 5 minutes remove the lid and stir well.
9. Add the Rotel, salt, pepper and onion powder to the skillet.
10. Stir well and increase the heat to medium.
11. Continue cooking until no liquid remains in the bottom of the skillet.
12. Add the salsa con queso to the skillet and stir well.
13. Add the shredded cheese and stir just until it’s melted.
14. Scoop, serve and enjoy!

Ingredients:
- 1 Pound Hamburger (Use 90/10 hamburger)
- 4 Tablespoons Flour
- 2 Cups Milk (1% milk recommended)
- ½ teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Pepper

Instructions:
1. To cook the hamburger, heat a pan over medium-high heat and brown the meat. Remember to season with salt and pepper while cooking.
2. Once the hamburger is fully cooked, drain off any excess fat.
3. Coat the browned hamburger by sprinkling flour over it and stir well.
4. Pour in the milk and stir well, scraping the bottom of the pan. The gravy will gradually thicken as it heats up. For a thinner consistency, add more milk as needed.
5. Stir in Worcestershire sauce into the gravy and taste to ensure it is correctly seasoned.
6. Serve the dish with potatoes, white bread, or country-fried steak.
7. Enjoy!
