Went to my first book signing last night and came home so inspired by Tori Wesszer’s cookbook, Fraîche and Simple. 🤍

As a registered dietitian and mom, her whole approach is about making nutritious family meals feel doable. Simple recipes, minimal prep, and ingredients you’ll likely already have on hand.

My favourite takeaway from the night was something she tells her kids when they’re unsure about a food: “You may not like it now, but you may like it later.” Now they even say it themselves when they try something new, and I absolutely loved that.

Such a beautiful cookbook for real life, especially if you’re trying to make feeding your family a little easier.

Jade’s first little skincare routine 🖤 She’s eight now and entering that little tween stage, so I wanted to start teaching her some simple habits early and make skincare feel like something easy and fun to keep up with.

Consistency with skincare has always been such a struggle for me. I never really built the habit when I was younger, and apparently teaching an old dog new tricks is harder than it looks 😅 So I’m hoping this is something we can learn and grow into together.

I kept her routine really simple with a gentle Cetaphil cleanser and Aveeno Kids face + body gel cream, both from Amazon, then made it feel a little more special with matte black glass dispensers, custom labels, a Canva routine print, and the cutest headband + wristband set.

A sweet little setup for her first routine, and hopefully the start of a habit we can both get better at together. Linking everything I used here.

Jade’s back-to-school basket 🖤 spooky season is basically her whole personality, so of course her school picks ended up very black, white + Ghostface.

Ghostface backpack + lunch bag, flare jeans, her first pair of Nikes, black + white check water bottle, and a dishwasher-safe bento box.

I did originally have a little black tee to go with the jeans, but after exchanging the jeans a couple of times I somehow managed to send the shirt out of town in the bag with her stuff 😂 so we’re working with what we’ve got.

Very Jade. Very spooky. Very much her mama’s girl.

Jade’s first little skincare routine 🖤 I wanted to keep everything really simple and age-appropriate for her, while still making it feel special and fun to use. Her skincare is from Amazon too, including Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser and Aveeno Kids face + body gel cream, both chosen as gentle, lower-tox options for her routine. I created the custom routine print in Canva, added labels to these matte black glass dispensers, and finished it off with the cutest headband + wristband set. Linking everything I used here.

I had so much fun putting this one together around all the things she loves right now. A little spooky, a little cozy, and definitely not overly girly 🖤 Her ghost cross stitch will be handmade by me, which might just be my favourite part of the whole basket.

Halloween Boo Basket for my four year old 👻

A little peek at what I’m putting in Carter’s boo basket this year. Cozy bamboo ghost PJs, the cutest little bat, a Halloween book & a skeleton cross stitch I’m making for him. A mix of something to wear, read, cuddle & keep. 🖤

Spooky season starts with matching PJs 👻

Found this year’s Halloween set for the kids & the little ghosts got me immediately. The black + ivory is so cute and I love a Halloween print that still feels simple. I grabbed a Kid 10 for Jade & Toddler 5T for Carter.

#LTKcanada #LTKfall #LTKkids

Slowly starting to build this year’s Halloween boo baskets 👻 Jade spotted this little bat and HAD to have him, he was already on my shortlist, so I ordered for both of them.

I also decided to bring back a hobby I loved in my teens/early 20s: cross stitching! I love the idea of working on these little projects while I’m resting and making something special for each of them. A ghost for Jade 👻 + skeleton for Carter 💀 felt very them. 🖤

Linking everything I’ve picked out so far + the digital cross stitch patterns!

Jade is heading into 3rd grade, and she definitely had a vision this year 🖤 She wanted spooky, sporty, and black and white, so we built her back to school essentials around that. I linked everything I could find, including a similar version of her backpack since her exact one wasn’t available.

Neutral, cozy, and collected…just the way I like it. I’ve tagged almost everything in this dining space, from the dining table and chairs to the shelving and decor.

My little Marketplace pickup system 🤎

I only offer porch pickup, so once a buyer confirms, I package everything in a paper bag with a personalized name tag. It makes the pickup feel a little more like receiving a gift than just grabbing a Marketplace purchase.

I leave it on the porch and send a photo so they know exactly where to find it. I accept cash under the mat or e-transfer, which means I don’t have to coordinate meeting times or worry if someone is running late.

It’s a simple system that’s made Marketplace pickups so much easier, and buyers can reuse the bag afterward too.

I’ve linked the bags, tags, twine and label maker I use because they’ve become a staple in my Marketplace routine.

If your kids have more stuffed animals than they know what to do with, this is such a cute solution. I added this stuffed animal zoo to Carter’s room to keep everything contained without hiding his favorites away. It keeps the room feeling tidy, and he can still grab whichever buddy he wants. Linked everything I could find for this corner.

Current Pottery Barn Halloween wishlist 🖤

I’m pretty sure the ghost taper candle set and one of the bronze witches are officially coming home with me. The rest… I’m trying very hard to resist. 👻

I’ve linked every piece from my wishlist.

What’s the one item you’d have to bring home?

#LTKcanada #LTKhome #LTKfamily

She put this on for the first time today and I’m officially obsessed. The cutest little neutral set.

#LTKcanada #LTKkids #LTKstyletip

Such a simple upgrade, but one that’s made our kids’ bathroom so much tidier. The magnetic cup pops off for rinsing after brushing, then snaps right back into place. No more toothbrushes or cups cluttering up the counter.

Beach day ready ☀️
Matching UPF swim sets, Crocs, sun hat… and one borrowed beach bucket toy, because Carter couldn’t find his own ☺️♥️

#LTKcanada #LTKkids #LTKswimwear

New swimsuits, an imaginary pool, and two very happy kids. Summer is off to a good start. ☀️♥️

They were convinced this bench was the edge of a swimming pool, and Carter kept trying to push Jade in. 😂 Safe to say these matching swimsuits were an instant hit.

Such a fun, neutral set for siblings if your little ones still love to match as much as mine do. 🤎

$30 OFF COUPON AVAILABLE

Just ordered the last piece of Jade’s tween bedroom furniture upgrade.

This bed was the perfect compromise. Built in storage drawers for me, LED lighting for her.

She loves it so much that she’s even putting some of her birthday money toward it.

One of my favourite purchases for our home this year.

This 5 piece patio set has become our go to spot for morning coffee, afternoon hangs, and cozy evenings outside. The rocking chairs were the feature I didn’t think much about when ordering, and now they’re my favourite part.

Bonus: it’s still $200 off right now.

#LTKcanada #LTKsale #LTKhome

Matching swim sets are getting harder to find as the kids get older, so when I found these UPF 50+ brown and white striped sets, I ordered them immediately.

Jade and Carter still love matching, and I know these are going to be so cute for beach days, swimming lessons, and summer adventures.#CanadianMom

#LTKfamily #LTKkids #LTKcanada #LTKkids #LTKsummer

This patio set has lived rent free in my mind since last year, and I’m SO happy I finally ordered it!

The quality honestly exceeded my expectations for the price. The wicker detail, the marble-look nesting tables, the deep cushions, the swivel gliders… it feels SO high end in person. Even better, it comes with the furniture covers too 👏🏻

I wanted something neutral, cozy, and elevated for our outdoor space, and this checked every box. Walmart Canada seriously surprised me with this one.

#LTKcanada #LTKsummer #LTKhome

I’ve been craving slower, softer spaces lately. The kind that instantly make home feel calmer the second you walk in.

We gave our bedroom a simple refresh with @onequince bamboo deluxe bedding bundle in Sand and I genuinely can’t get over how soft and cooling it feels. The silky texture, neutral tones, and elevated feel completely transformed the space.

I love that Quince focuses on beautifully made essentials without the luxury markup. Timeless pieces, sustainable materials, and quality that truly feels high end.
