This year’s practical Easter baskets 🐰

Putting together Jade & Carter’s baskets with a few fun things they’ll actually use.

I try to keep the chocolate pretty minimal — just some mini eggs and a couple Easter treats tucked into their burlap bags (which I always buy right before Easter so they don’t mysteriously disappear 😆).

Simple surprises, practical little items, and the bunny baskets that come out every year.

Simple traditions really are the best ones.

When I planned Carter’s toddler bed, I thought I’d use a twin duvet and drape it open at the bottom. Once Mike put the bed together I realized that style wouldn’t work.

I tried a few different ways to make it look nice but it either looked messy or was too hard for me to remake every day.

So I tried something different. A basket. I roll the duvet up and place it beside his bed. It looks cute and makes mornings so much easier for me.

Sometimes a small change can make a big difference.
