FRENCH ONION SOUP 🧅 SAVE RECIPE BELOW 👇 Ingredients: 3-4 onions 1 cup white wine 2 tbs butter 2-3 tbs flour 4-5 cups beef broth Salt and pepper Gruyère cheese Sautee the onions with oil and a sprinkle of salt. Cover it for 5 minutes on medium heat to let the onions soften. Carmelize the onions till they’re golden brown, stirring occasionally - this takes about 45-60 minutes. Add the butter, and then the wine. Sautee till the wine boils off. Add the flour and stir. Stir in the beef broth. Compile the bread and beef soup in the bowl, and top with gruyère cheese. Put in the broiler for few minutes till the cheese is melted and edges are brown. Note: Make sure the bowl is oven safe!
