#ad This wreath is probably one of the most unique fall wreaths I’ve seen. I love all the texture, the warm fall colors and especially that black striped burlap bow. It makes such a statement on the door without feeling too Halloween, so you can leave it up straight through Thanksgiving.

#ad I swear this little scarecrow is still one of my favorite fall decor pieces I own. The aged finish is SO good and he makes such a statement on my porch. People always ask me about him and I love getting him back out every year.

I love mixing in a few Halloween pieces with all the fall plants and pumpkins instead of going super spooky. He’s just one of those pieces that makes the whole porch.

#ad This rug has the prettiest fall colors. The warm browns and muted tones are so good right now, but it doesn’t feel like a rug you’d have to put away when fall is over. I’d honestly use it all year. It has that vintage look, it’s a nice low pile, and it works so well with warm wood tones and neutral furniture.

#ad I have these plaid curtains in TWO colors now because I love them that much 😂 They have the best warm, cozy look for fall, but honestly I’d leave them up all year. They’re especially good in a boys room and add so much without making the room feel too themed. They come in a bunch of other colors too.

I made this THREE years ago you guys and I’m still getting it out every Halloween. 😂 It is honestly still one of my absolute favorite Halloween DIYs I’ve ever done.

Here’s exactly what I did:

1. Spray paint the pumpkin with a matte spray paint + primer in one.
2. Mix a little baking soda into paint and brush it on for that rough, aged texture. Let it dry completely.
3. Mix dirt with a little water and rub it generously all over the pumpkin. Let that dry too.
4. Once dry, use a soft bristle brush to brush off all the loose dirt and excess.
5. Finish with a matte clear coat to seal it.

Mine has been outside for three years on a covered porch that does occasionally get wet. I’ve touched up a few little spots, but it has held up SO well.

My exact pumpkin isn’t available anymore, so I’m linking a couple different options you can use. Unfortunately, the price of these giant pumpkins has basically doubled since I made mine 😭 but they are SUCH a statement and still so worth it.

Save this one because it’s way easier than it looks. 🎃

Here’s my vision for our primary bedroom at our lake house. Paint color is pigeon. By farrow and ball. Nightstands I’m going to DIY, but I’m linking the original as well and the supplies I’m using. Hands-down my favorite designer lamp you can’t go wrong. Handmade bedding from Etsy linen bedding from quince. Vintage style bed.

Fell in love with his nightstand, but didn’t want to spend the price and also wanted it a tad bit bigger. I’ve already worked with this unfinished stand in the past for our bedroom so I thought adding this little wood detail and mixing the stain would be an almost exact match for a lot less. I would suggest routing the top so it looks like the other one if you know someone that can do that DIY nightstand primary bedroom cottage bedroom.
