Let’s start at the beginning because my body image / self love journey is my most complicated love story Btw happy international women’s day my lovelies - if not one has told you today yet, you are enough and you are loved🫶🏼 It all started when I was 12 and entered Elle girl search for a super model and got into the finals where one of the most famous agents scouted me and I was put on the “models to watch” board (because I was so young) I was being measured regularly and it quickly became apparent my body shape (in particular my hips) was not “acceptable” After I was dropped because I was too big (I’m a UK 8 and a US 4) they gave me a list of other agencies who I should meet with I’m honestly so proud that even at that age I had the balls even after being rejected to try again and I did try all 11 times and each time was rejected for being too something… curvy, commercial, mature for my age you name it I was too something and not enough of something else As you can imagine I took that all in and as my very competitive Virgo self I thought ok well clearly my body needs to change and I need to be the measurements of the successful models to make it and so this is just the beginning of the journey, to be continued next Wednesday 💕 #365momfits #notarobe . . . . #midsize #midsizefashion #midsizestyle #midsizetiktok #midsizeoutfits #outfitideas #outfitinspo #grwm #getreadywithme #styleinspo #modeling #modellife #modelling #LTKcurves #LTKFind #LTKfit
