POV: you came for the beach pics but stayed for the 30A cheat sheet 🌊👇 We did family photos while staying on 30A and these are moments I’ll go back to when I’m old 😭 These were taken by the insanely talented @megflorence.creative (we booked her wayyy in advance so message her as soon as you book your trip to 30A) and I’m currently assessing every wall in our home to hang these on 🥹 30A can be a little overwhelming to book when it’s your first time but all the different beach towns are about a mile apart - there’s no bad spot, but there are different vibes. Seaside is a little too chaotic for us to want to actually stay there and Rosemary is a little too sleepy four our kids, but the Seacrest beaches have been perfect for us. Just make sure your rental comes with PRIVATE beach access or you’ll get crowded out at the pubic spots. Our favorite spots every year: – Old Florida Fish House → best vibe dinner, live music, lawn games for kids, make sure you sit outside (our favorite spot) – North Beach Social → casual, waterfront, toes in the sand energy, live music, beach games, best in the evening, hidden gem the locals go to (tied for our other favorite spot) – The Big Chill 30A → easiest family spot, tons of options + space for kids, kind of like an aesthetic outdoor food court with lots to do, easy hangout when you want a break from the beach - Bud and Alley’s → waterfront restaurant in Seaside with the best rooftop views AREAS TO HANG: – Seaside Florida → classic 30A energy, walkable, food trucks + shopping, live music, families out at night, golf carts everywhere, tons for the kids to do but can be hard to find parking and gets crowded but super central location – Rosemary Beach → prettier/quiet, European vibe, great for strolling at night, cobblestone streets, super charming, great at night, good mix of families + couples – Alys Beach → white architecture, very aesthetic, worth walking through for a curated resort feel, not as kid friendly (kids welcome, but not as much for them to do) There’s a ton of other places we love but this is all you need to start planning your trip!
