If 2023 was the year of any brand for me, it was YSL. Each of these products is an absolute staple in my collection, so some brief notes on each: •Rouge Volupté Shine Lipstick Balm: if your favorite chapstick, lip oil, & lipstick had a baby. It’s delightful, light on the lips, & nourishing. •NU BARE LOOK TINT Hydrating Skin Tint: the ONLY skin tint I have been using for the last couple of months. It’s perfect for winter with the added hyaluronic acid, and just adds the subtle something we all hope & pray for when it comes to anything you’re putting all over your face. •NU LIP & CHEEK BALMY TINT: again, if your favorite lip balm & cream blush had a baby. It is… just so good. The shade here is Nu Chills - soft plum, and it’s been my go to blush and lip tint for the holiday and winter months. •Black Opium Eau de Parfum: wore this on my wedding day and it is THE perfume. It’s got a musky undertone that makes it equal parts sexy and sophisticated. •Touche Éclat All-Over Brightening Concealer Pen: this and the skin tint are a match made in heaven. This concealer is light, buildable, and blends like a dream. My only complaint is the pen itself, but I use a brush, scrape it off the pen, and apply that way. •Lash Clash Extreme Volume Mascara: it’s just an absolutely rock solid mascara.
