I seriously cannot wait to see this tree grow. If it gets anywhere close to the size of my 14 foot fiddle leaf fig, it’s going to be absolutely stunning. Here’s how I’m caring for it. • Give it plenty of bright light. The white parts of the leaves don’t photosynthesize, so the green parts need enough light to support the whole plant. • Water when the top few inches of soil feel dry, then water thoroughly. I add fiddle leaf fig fertilizer, and gnat drops to every watering. • Plant it in a nursery pot with excellent drainage holes, and use a soil mix made for fiddle leaf figs. • Rotate it every couple of weeks so it grows evenly. If you’ve been wanting one, look for a smaller plant.
