Real Talk. We’ve had a week of cluster feedings, comfort nursing, velcro baby, up all night and overwhelming mommy doubt. It’s been a mix of needing a break, but not wanting to put her down. Longing for the next milestone, but mourning the ever fleeting newborn stage. I won’t come on here to glamorize any of it - it’s tough. This postpartum stage is not often talked about. The feelings of overwhelm and discouragement can oftentimes overshadow the blessings and the joy a new little life brings; it truly is a roller coaster. My purpose of this post was to be a place of I encouragement. No matter what stage you may be in, whether you’re overwhelmed, feeling alone, or exhausted… maybe you’re struggling with depression, breastfeeding, a colicky baby or dealing with anxiety while trying to figure out a routine….
