Black La Vie Lace Mini Caftan | La Vie Style House

instructions:
* On a clean surface, layer the phyllo sheets on top of one another.
* Working on the shorter end of the phyllo
sheets rectangle, evenly spread the cheese over 2" at the edge.
*Layer in your preferred stuffing for this- i used fig jam, Brie + prosciutto. Roll up tightly like a burrito.
* Slice into 1" -1.5" pieces. Place into individual muffin tin cups.
*Drizzle each very generously with olive oil,
about 2 teaspoons each. This is what will make them extra flaky and crunchy!
* Bake them for 20-25 minutes, rotating the
pan halfway through baking, until deeply
golden on top.
* Let rest 10 minutes before scooping out with
a spoon.
*Drizzle with honey and garnish with fresh
thyme leaves to serve!

easy to make cinnamon roll muffins

perfect recipe for when you have guest staying over and need a quick breakfast in the AM ☀️

I used puff pastry and mixed cinnamon and white sugar for my cinnamon sugar mixture

Butter one side of the puff pastry to help cinnamon sugar mixture stay

Cut the puff pastry into triangles

Rolled the thicker side first to the end point and then wrapped the puff pastry into a pinwheel

Put into muffin tins and baked as puff pastry directed

Made icing with equal parts whipping cream + powder sugar and dash of vanilla

Add icing while muffins are slightly warm and enjoy 🤍

the easiest pie recipe that will totally wow your guest. this will take you 15 minutes to make, max!

Filling:
300 g cream cheese (I used two tubs of @Philly Cream Cheese duhhh)
2 egg yolks
5 tbsp powdered sugar
2 tbsp cornstarch
300g strawberries
30 g almond flakes
5 sheets phyllo dough
25 g butter

How to:
- Brush each phyllo sheet with melted butter and place into the baking dish.
- Mix cream cheese with egg yolks, powdered sugar and cornstarch.
- Add the cream and strawberries onto the dough, tuck the edges, brush with butter and sprinkle with almond flakes.
-Bake at 170°C top-bottom heat for 35 minutes.
