In August 2017, I started doing makeup with no idea of everything that little beginning would become.

What started with one woman trusting me with her face became hundreds of brides, countless early mornings, beautiful celebrations, a growing team, a studio of our own, and a business that has somehow become part of so many people’s most meaningful memories.

There have been long days, growing pains, lessons, prayers, and moments when the dream felt much bigger than me. But there has also been so much love.

Bridal skin prep is not one-size-fits-all—and it shouldn’t be.

One of the questions we receive the most is, “What exactly is included in the skin prep?” The honest answer is that it depends on your skin.

I’m not going to use the same product combination on someone who is dry and dehydrated as I would on someone who is oily or sensitive. I look at how your skin is behaving that morning and choose every layer with a purpose so your makeup applies smoothly and wears beautifully.

This is where my background as a licensed aesthetician and my bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry really come into play. What looks like a few simple skincare steps actually has a lot of science behind it—and I love that part.

After hundreds of wedding mornings, I think I officially have enough material for at least 10 seasons on Netflix. 😂🍿

Season 1: The groom can’t find his shoes.

Season 2: Other vendors keep interrupting the bride while she’s getting hair and makeup done. 🤍 Pro tip: if she’s in my chair, let her enjoy the moment. Every interruption delays the timeline and adds unnecessary stress.

Season 3: The bride says, “I’m not going to cry”… then Dad walks in. I cry too. (This is exactly why touch-ups aren’t just for lipstick. I’m there for emotional support too🤍)

Season 4: The bouquet isn’t what the bride envisioned… and everyone jumps into problem-solving mode.

Season 5: The hotel fire alarm goes off. 🚨

Season 6: Every bridesmaid arrives with soaking wet hair…

Season 7: Everyone promised they’d “take it easy” at the rehearsal dinner… nobody did. Coffee becomes the real MVP. ☕😂

Season 8: The bride is completely calm… but Mom is making sure everyone stays on their toes. 😂🤍

Season 9: “I washed my hair this morning!” (Every hairstylist collectively sighs.) 😂

Season 10: The bride looks in the mirror and says, “This is exactly what I dreamed of.” 🤍
