We’re not skipping pool days, but we ARE protecting ourselves. That’s why we both swear by our DIY Vitamin C Spray to neutralize chlorine.

Yes, you can buy a fancy one for $$$, but non-toxic moms like us? We’re out here doing our best — and making it ourselves is easier, cheaper, and just as effective.

Here’s our go-to DIY recipe:
👉 2 cups filtered or distilled water
👉 2 tsp sodium ascorbate powder (we love Metagenics)
👉 Glass spray bottle

Use it like this:
1️⃣ Spray all over skin and hair before swimming. Rub in and let sit a few minutes. (Apply after sunscreen.)
2️⃣ Spray after swimming. Then rinse off with fresh water!
3️⃣ Moisturize and done ✅

We have our pool bag dialed in! This waterproof bag is worth the hype. I also found the best snack platter, pool toys, goggles, low tox sunscreen and bags that I keep stocked. A packed pool bag is a summer mom essential!

Best way to remove residual pesticides from your produce?

BAKING SODA + WATER 🙌🏽

I add a heaping tablespoon to each bowl and soak produce for about 10 minutes. Strain, rinse, and air dry before storing!

I will forever sign up to bring snacks for class parties, sports games, etc. so I know my kiddos are getting real food vs. artificial junk 🙌🏽 I am all about letting them indulge in treats, as long as they are made with ingredients I can actually pronounce.
