Leave it to Lorna Luxe and Elemis to create the perfect collaboration! I discovered Elemis a few years ago and I’m obsessed with their products, especially the collagen cleansing balm. This year I have two advent calendars for Christmas and I can’t wait! Believe it or not this Rituals advent calendar is my first ever skincare advent calendar! Normally I buy chocolate ones 😝 For the first time ever in our 12 year relationship, Alex and I decided to make diy advent calendars for each other! For sure there will have inside trading cards, mine Disney Lorcana and Alex’s a combination of Pokemon and Magic the Gathering! We bought individual cards online that were very affortable. I’ll keep you updated once they arrive! I want to make his extra special so I’ll definitely add more things inside but keep it on a budget! Already passed the budget though but it’s fine 😂 So fairly on a budget! We bought the empty advent calendars from Sostrene Grene and were around 13-16 euro each. Advent calendars in my opinion are a great gift and if they are diy are even better! It would be great for all ages as well! It’s wedding season so I thought to show you all the DIY projects I made as a maid of honour to my best friend’s wedding! So pack with me the handmade veil I made for my best friend for her bachelorette! Actually I made two, one for the bride that got married last October and I was the maid of honour and one for the bride that will get married this July! Both packages were identical, only the box was different. I handmade both veils. I bought glittery tulle fabric, sew-on pearls and hair barrette clips. I handsewn first the clip on the fabric and then handsewn the pearls as well. Each veil has the initials of the couple embroidered and something that symbolises their nicknames from their husbands. If you are wondering, no I didn’t know how to embroider before this! I’m just delusional and I thought “How difficult can it be? If others can do it, I can do it as well!” 😂 I made it indeed but it took a few tries and a couple of days to make them presentable 😝 I used a marker to mark the design and went over it with the thread. DIY projects we did for my best friend’s bachelorette party in which I was the maid of honour. The sign and the invitation were made exclusively by Eirini, I did all the handmade crafty things and Adobe Express AI did the menu drawings and envelope liners! The food for the brunch was made by us and our parents and the decor as well! I couldn’t pull this off without the help of my friends, our parents and Adobe! Honestly I couldn’t recommend Adobe programs enough, and specifically Adobe Express. It saved me lots of time and money and I think it’s a great tool for future brides or maid of honours that love DIY or are on a budget. The bride loved the 3 day celebration and we had lot’s of fun, so it was overall a huge success! I still can’t believe how fabulous the food looked like! #LTKwedding

Yesterday I saw this super UV over makeup mist from Garnier Ambre Solaire and I grabbed it immediately! This July I’m heading to Greece for a wedding and I’m sure it will come in handy there. We have lot’s of plans regarding the wedding (and not) in which I will wear makeup. So spraying this above the makeup will be great for extra UV protection. The Dior Backstage face palette in the shade 001-universal is the latest palette in my makeup collection. It was one of my birthday gifts this year from my friend Eirini and I can’t believe I didn’t get it earlier. The glow it gives is amazing! It has microglitter as well but you don’t see it as a glitter, you see it as glow on the face. I use the two lighter shades as highlighter on my fave and the darker as eyeshadow. The pink one I used it both as a blush topper and an eyeshadow. I really like how versatile it is and I think it’s great for travelling as well.
