Next, layer in pieces that add structure and visual interest like a collection of books, decorative boxes, or trays. Finish with unique pieces that show off your personality.

✨Think of your anchors like a seesaw. Create balance in the middle, and keep the items on either side proportional so they balance each other out. The size and scale of the table should dictate the size and scale of the anchors.
✨ I like for my books to complement each other visually. Choose covers that flow together nicely and don’t fight for attention. You can go a step further by choosing books that incorporate the colors of the nearby rooms too for even more balance.
✨ Keep the personal pieces unique. Include a monogram, a favorite color, a family memento, interesting candle, smaller seasonal decorative objects, etc.
