The house we made : the sunroom ☀️ Added on in the 70s or 80s this sunroom addition never felt truly connected to the rest of our 1930s home. Plus, the construction quality was pretty poor. By the time we bought our house a lot of the wood (both on the walls and the actual floors) were pretty severely warped from sun damage. I know some people will *love* the vibe of the original (we ruined it!) but to me, having a sun room that’s bright and welcoming (and not literally falling apart) brings me so much more joy than the dark cave-like room it was (but if you like caves, that’s totally cool too 🤷♀️) cottagecore thriftedhome renovation sunroom cottagecorehome homeiswheretheheartis
