We did a little ✨one year✨ smash cake photo shoot for Willa to commemorate her special first birthday, and first taste of cake. She had a cute little flower crown to wear but you can swipe right to see how she felt about that (😂) Thankful is a word I use all the time when I talk about Willa. I probably sound like a broken record, but children aren’t a guarantee in this world, and they aren’t a guarantee to be healthy, or be with us forever. (Who talks about this in a first birthday post 🤦🏼‍♀️) I’m just so stuck with thankfulness to the Lord for giving her to us. My primary desires in this life weren’t to be a mom and a wife, the Lord lovingly changed my heart towards that and now I have this beautiful little girl (and loving husband, btw, hey Zack) whom I just feel so undeserving of. Anyways all that to say, one year around the sun with our precious girl and it has truly been the best year of my life. Thank you Lord, for this little gift from above.
