By far my favorite cleaning item! It’s a splurge but I feel like my floors are actually clean after using it because the dirty water is recycled in here and you have to pour it out rather than just reducing the dirty water or dumping that on the floor 🤮

I have been a skinny jean gal for what feels like my entire life, but I’m slowly getting on this wide leg jean trend and I think it’s pretty cute! Long live babyhood and playing in a defined space 😂 we have a walker as of this week and we walk everywhere, I’m sort of wondering if she’ll ever *sit* and play with anything ever again 🤷🏼‍♀️

We snuck away for a few days last week to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and had THE BEST few days soaking in the animals, pool time, and naan bread 😂 You can swipe through the photos to see some of the highlights! I’m going to share some of my tips for visiting if you want to visit as well!

We did a little ✨one year✨ smash cake photo shoot for Willa to commemorate her special first birthday, and first taste of cake. She had a cute little flower crown to wear but you can swipe right to see how she felt about that (😂)

Thankful is a word I use all the time when I talk about Willa. I probably sound like a broken record, but children aren’t a guarantee in this world, and they aren’t a guarantee to be healthy, or be with us forever. (Who talks about this in a first birthday post 🤦🏼‍♀️) I’m just so stuck with thankfulness to the Lord for giving her to us. My primary desires in this life weren’t to be a mom and a wife, the Lord lovingly changed my heart towards that and now I have this beautiful little girl (and loving husband, btw, hey Zack) whom I just feel so undeserving of. Anyways all that to say, one year around the sun with our precious girl and it has truly been the best year of my life. Thank you Lord, for this little gift from above.

Took some time to finally get my toenails done 💅🏻 tbh the last time I went to the nail salon was right before we found out Willa was a girl (😱) because who knew the world would shut down basically the next month after that. I literally begged zack to let me get them done right before she was born and he was like “is it really worth it” and it obviously wasn’t, little bit of preggo drama there 😂

But here we are 18 months later and I feel like a real girl again. Also lol at the fact that Willa was obsessed with touching them, like, you’re normally a ragamuffin so what are these things? 😂

Everyday is a Gift with Willa 🎁🎉 We had the best time celebrating our girl’s big FIRST birthday. While Willa had the most delicious (I would know, I’ve been eating it for breakfast for a few days 😂) cake made by my sweetest friend, she much preferred feeding it to us 🤷🏼‍♀️ So very thankful for everyone who celebrated with us, our girl is so loved!

Woke Willa up early for a sunrise beach wedding. This little baby grows more into her own each day. She stands with her daddy on the side of the couch. She pulls herself towards the cat whenever she’s in sight (much to Juleps dismay) When she doesn’t want to eat something she gags with her entire body, just to make sure you know that she really would rather not eat that again 😂 She mutters things to herself all day long. She has learned to wave, but we’re still working on “Hi!” She likes to nap with her face touching mine. She thinks licking peoples faces is very funny.

We just got back from the sweetest weekend with Willa in Disney World! This trip was a sweet gift to me from Zack and it truly was a dream come true to do all the Disney things with my sweet girl! There really was so much to do for the little babies! Her first ride ever was Dumbo and she may or may not have held onto both Zack and I for dear life 😂 but she never cried or anything! Is anyone else out there trying to put together their baby’s baby book and having no luck? Just me? Good to know. I have taken SO MANY pictures of this baby that I can’t possibly narrow them down to just a few for her book! At this point I’m seriously considering having a few books for her and then I’m thinking to myself, will her potential future siblings get this kind of treatment? Or will they be like “obviously moms favorite is Willa, just go look at the 4 baby books she has for her” 😂😳
