The Frattini Sesann Sofa by @manhattan.home.design (#ad) is a reproduction of an iconic 1970 low-slung sofa by Giancarlo Frattini, featuring chrome-cinched sides with gathered pleating. I loved introducing this sleek silhouette to my 1920s bungalow project in Southwest Atlanta to create my favorite blend of old-and-new. I love how it pairs with the vintage acrylic-and-chrome coffee table I previously sourced, and the Italian-style glass in the new chandelier. ⁠

I wasn’t sure what to do with the solid concrete column in our apartment, until I remembered the magic of hanging plates!

They’re charming, personal, sculptural, and don’t have to be fussy if you mix up the patterns. I started collecting plates with center medallions, both new and vintage (eBay was my BFF here), and mixed in some pretty creamware to fill it out. And there’s room to keep filling it out as we find more!
