I wasn’t sure what to do with the solid concrete column in our apartment, until I remembered the magic of hanging plates!

They’re charming, personal, sculptural, and don’t have to be fussy if you mix up the patterns. I started collecting plates with center medallions, both new and vintage (eBay was my BFF here), and mixed in some pretty creamware to fill it out. And there’s room to keep filling it out as we find more!
