I wasn’t sure what to do with the solid concrete column in our apartment, until I remembered the magic of hanging plates! They’re charming, personal, sculptural, and don’t have to be fussy if you mix up the patterns. I started collecting plates with center medallions, both new and vintage (eBay was my BFF here), and mixed in some pretty creamware to fill it out.
