For years, this little pink room has quietly become one of the most loved spaces in our home. And honestly? I think it’s because it gave me permission to stop playing it safe.

The color is called “Just Rosy” by PPG Paints (Pittsburgh Paints), and while it may look bold at first glance, it actually reads incredibly soft and warm throughout the day. It changes with the light in the prettiest way and somehow manages to feel playful, cozy, vintage, and timeless all at once.

I think so many people are afraid of using color because they assume it will feel overwhelming, but what I’ve learned through this room is that color can actually make a home feel more lived in, layered, and personal.

Three months ago, I decided I couldn’t keep ignoring what my body was trying to tell me.

I was constantly bloated, rarely felt truly “regular,” and no matter how much sleep I got, my energy just wasn’t where I wanted it to be.

Around that same time, I began intentionally healing my gut. While there wasn’t one magical food that fixed everything, this breakfast quickly became one of the biggest daily habits that supported my healing. I honestly look forward to it every morning now.

Here’s why I keep making it:

✨ 1. It’s packed with fiber.
The combination of oatmeal and chia seeds has been a game changer for my digestion. For the first time in a long time, I started feeling consistently regular, and that alone has made such a difference in how I feel day to day.

💪 2. It helps me hit my protein goals.
With collagen and an egg whisked in after cooking, this bowl gives me over 30 grams of protein without tasting overly “healthy.”

🤍 3. It keeps me full for hours.
