For the longest time I struggled with how to make something feel functional and beautiful. It felt like I had to pick and choose.

Like if it worked well, it couldn’t also feel warm and inviting… and if it looked beautiful, it probably wasn’t very practical for real, everyday life.

But somewhere along the way, I realized it was never about choosing one or the other—it was about layering both.

Letting the pretty things be useful.
Letting the functional things be seen.
Letting a space feel lived-in, not just styled.

And that’s where the magic started to happen.
So if you’ve been waiting for permission to make your spaces both… this is it 🤍

Comment SHORTS below and I’ll send you all my Amazon favorites along with the tops, pullovers, and accessories I style them with! ✨

There’s just something about taking the “basic” pieces in your closet and layering them in a way that makes you feel cute, comfortable, and a little more put together. 🤎

I think athletic wear gets a bad rep for feeling too casual sometimes, but honestly? A good pair of athletic shorts, an oversized pullover, a fitted tank, and some chunky gold jewelry can make you feel surprisingly elevated while still being comfortable enough to live real life in.

Whether I’m heading to the gym, sitting at a baseball game, grabbing a mid-morning coffee, or just running around town with the kids… this is pretty much my summer uniform. 😜

And Amazon has honestly become one of my favorite places to find athletic shorts that are cute, flattering, and actually affordable.

Comfy, cute + somehow under $50 for the whole outfit?! 👏🏼

These barrel sweatpants are LESS THAN $15 and my striped sweatshirt is on sale for $35 right now! The burgundy bag was an ALDI find 🙃 but I linked a few similar options because apparently burgundy is my entire personality this fall. 🤎🍷

Everything I can link is right here! 👇🏼

How I’d style a living room for fall: heavy patterns, moody layers, warm wood, and plenty of texture. Think collected rather than coordinated — a room that feels a little romantic, a little cozy, and made for settling in as the season changes. 🍂

A few Quince + Sézane finds I’m especially loving lately — classic, easy pieces with that quietly collected feel I always come back to. A little French-inspired, a little everyday, and all things I’d happily wear on repeat this season.

Our pink room is full of soft, vintage-inspired charm and cozy layers that grow beautifully with the seasons. If you love timeless decor with a feminine touch, these are the pieces I always reach for to create that collected home feeling.

Apparently my version of fall decorating now includes… washing the curtains. 😂🍎🍂

I washed our café curtains in Snif’s Apple Cider Smash, hung them right back up, cracked the windows and let that crisp fall air do the rest.

You can see my fav SNIF scents below!

But I’m telling you...the whole room smells like someone’s been simmering something cozy on the stove all afternoon. Just enough apple + spice without having to light another candle. 🤎

Sometimes making home feel like fall is less about adding more stuff…and more about the little things you can’t even see.

A bedroom made for fall 🍂 I’m especially loving the warmth of yellow florals this time of year—soft, layered, and a little nostalgic. We have this yellow floral quilt at home and it’s one of those pieces that makes the whole room feel instantly more collected and cozy.
