Welcome to The Afternoon Pour. Today I’m making a twist on the @starbucks iced pecan crunch latte, using coconut milk for a dairy-free treat. Big thanks to @nespresso for helping me pull the perfect shot of espresso at home — it’s the foundation of this little indulgence! ☕ The Afternoon Pour | Iced Pecan Crunch Latte (with Coconut Milk) Recipe: For the Pecan Syrup: •In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup sugar,1 cup water, and 3/4 cup chopped pecans. •Bring to a light simmer, stirring until the sugar dissolves. •Let it bubble gently for 3–4 minutes, then remove from heat and let steep about 10 minutes. •Strain out the pecans and pour the syrup into a jar. (Keeps in the fridge for up to a week!) To Assemble the Drink: •Brew a strong shot of espresso using your @nespresso (or any espresso maker) and let it cool slightly. •Fill a glass with ice, then add 1–1½ oz of pecan syrup. Pour in your cooled espresso. •Top with 6 oz coconut milk and give it a gentle stir. For that signature creamy finish, whisk together a little coconut milk + splash of vanilla + drizzle of syrup to make a light foam. Spoon it over the top. •Finish with a sprinkle of crushed toasted pecans + brown sugar for that “pecan crunch” magic.
