Here’s what I did yesterday, as a stay at home mom, to re-set midweek so I can re-focus on the days ahead. Small, simple acts of just TAKING CARE OF YOURSELF can really make alllll the difference. 2026 has already thrown curve balls & lots of “what the actual hell”s at my “hell yeah” attitude I tried to enter the year with , so not losing myself in the process of it all isn’t always the easiest. That’s where these “little” tasks with BIG impact come in! A shower, a tan (or not if you’re not a self tanner girly that’s ok too), a candle of your favorite scent, soft textures on the skin, music & movement, reading, water intake, eating (that’s a biggie) … all things that can easily be done each day in some capacity but we tend to neglect them first. Here’s your sign to do something for YOU today. In whatever little pocket of time you can! Normally if I do any of this it’s after everyone’s in bed… a few hours of me time is worth a few less hours of sleep… But you also deserve to take up some of the day! Rest IS productive.
