our front porch is a sacred space for us - it’s the host of many after dinner conversations and where we sit to enjoy popsicles on a hot summer day. it’s where my kids take their sopping wet clothes off after playing in the sprinkler with daddy. it’s where muddy shoes and boots come off after a fun day in the yard. where Eddie’s nap mat hangs to dry every sunday afternoon. it’s where I’ve spent many afternoons, laying on the porch swing, enjoying the breeze and watching the Spanish moss blow in the wind. where good byes take about twenty minutes and end with a hug around the neck and waving family away from the top step. I can’t quite explain it, but there’s something magical about a southern front porch 〰️ if you haven’t experienced it first hand, you just can’t understand it. so replanting it always feels like the beginning of a season of new memories for me. 🌱 linked what I could - comment PORCH below and I’ll send you what I’ve got!
