When you have a budget to stick to but expensive taste, you learn how to make the most of what you have. For my daughter’s nursery, I wanted a dresser that looked custom and high-end without the custom price tag, so I gave this IKEA dresser a makeover. I used 3/8 in x 1 1/4 in x 7 ft unfinished pine wood stop from to frame out the drawers and the sides of the dresser. I cut them to size using my miter saw. If you don’t have a miter saw, buy a pair of multi angle miter shears and that will do the job. I attached them to the dresser with wood glue. I then filled and caulked. I applied two coats of primer and followed up with two coats of paint. LTKHome LTKBaby LTKKids
