A few ways I make small bedrooms feel bigger:

1. Mirrors behind nightstands add light and depth ✨Restoration Hardware uses this trick all the time and I love the look!
My mirror is 60” x 24”. I went larger because my nightstand is 30” wide. I also linked a vanity mirror that’s 54” x 30” that can be hung vertically.

2. A cozy upholstered four-poster bed creates a statement without overwhelming the space. 🛌 The last hotel room in Scotland did this and I was in love with inviting warm look.
My bed is Queen in size.

3. Hang drapes wide and high to make the ceilings feel taller and keep the window fully visible when open. 🪟 Best trick I learned from designers!
Window Treatments are from @designs_by_tania. She’s amazing and in the SoCal area if you’re looking for new window treatments.

4. And don’t forget a large piece of art or a gallery wall above the bed—it really opens up the space. 🖼️ I always love a large visual piece to set the mood.

New cozy bedroom for our new home 🤍

Our upholstered bed and bench fabric is ‘Coconut Gowan Inside Out Performance’ fabric. Love the neutral light tone and the softness of the fabric. Performance fabric makes it so easy to keep everything clean.

The gold frame black and white botanicals are a new favorite. They will go with every color and style..

The alabaster lamps have a dimmer as well as lights on the inside of the base. They give off a glow at night. I love them so much I’ve also ordered them for our guest bedroom.

The black Regency bedside tables with marble top are beautiful and pick up the black in our gallery wall. 👏🏼

The 8 drawer dresser is the perfect size for our niche. I switched the drawer pulls to a brass to match the room and my nightstands

The curved gold floor mirror is made of wood and I love that it reflects our ocean view.

The gorgeous geometric rug is a combination of ivory and cream. Soft and luxurious. Perfect for a bedroom. ✨

Decorating my banister with this gorgeous 1st layer of frosted green garland with white berries. I’m using 2 garlands wrapped around one another on each side of the railing for a fuller look. 🎄🌿
I tie the garland to the banister using the clear stretchy ties. I’ll then use some of the matching picks to cover the stretchy ties. I also like to add a 2” double sided gold satin ribbon once finished if I want something more
