Adding gold paint to the front of my stainless steel Wolf range knobs allows them to mix well with the brass accents in the kitchen as well as our stainless steel range. I 1st lightly sand the front of each knob after taping the area off then I add a metal primer. I then layer metallics paint (the color depends on what I’m trying to match - I have several golds and sometimes I mix the colors as well) from Modern Masters over top until I get the desired color. I usually add 6-8 layers letting them dry in between. After the knobs are the color I like I add a satin sealer over top.
